This is the end of the Phlood session . Sunset is ON. Tide is flooding the pluff section. went chilled on the tunes. edited for speed and some
fade. better than phlood on the watch i think . Sunset closing on a nice session. NNW 20-30mph on port royal sound.
enjoy!

Hey man, I have been watching your videos; awesome sessions by the way
Are you attaching your camera to a helmet? I want to be able to shoot this same angle but can't bring myself to wear a helmet on the water... I cant
think of any other options besides attaching to a helmet.
What helmet do you have?
Thanks
PHREERIDER - 24-11-2011 at 06:20 AM
Brent its not a helmet. its a head strap, it comes with GoPro. its sold separately as well. basically elastic fabric bands works well . it all
should be leashed to your suit zip or something!
your in CA its cold! i think a head cover would be welcome. i do wear a protec basic on land .
just to let you know when your wearing a helmet on the water nobody can really see it or even know its you...unless your doing ultra close passes by
your private cat down in the BVI's for the ladies don't sweat the bucket thing..its your brains the audience could not care less.
thanks for watching

I sooooo envy you with all the excellent riding you get in and that location is incredible. Yes I wear a helmet on the water, I think it would feel
just as hard as hard ground if you smoked it a speed or from any height. Too bad I haven't ridden more than a couple hundred yards in my whole water
career though:dunno:

keep on it Shaggs, soon it'll be thousands of yards, right into thousands of hours.
and yes a 20 foot smack is a 20 foot smack, water or land helmets are good and good for you ! esp. starting out!

Sweet video Chad with some chillaxed tunes, nice edits as well. I hope to get out on the water soon.
PHREERIDER - 26-11-2011 at 11:09 AM
thanks ! from this point the spot is sweet .
the reality is the spot is filled with oyster/ oyster shells and muck. the rigged walkout at low must be close to 1/2mile like a greased razor pit.
the rocks and obstacles are WAY down wind. very few sessions here. even fewer up this position this high in port royal sound. once you find the
sandy path all is good. quick run to paris island/ fripp but rough in the middle! this sand bar is a clean spot and a nice current breaker .
todd it is mostly random splits , the splits and trans overlap, gives quite the distortion.
