As has been recently discussed, snow blades make learning to snow kite easier in the right conditions. Not great for ice or deep snow, but for average
conditions, the short length make turning, jibes and jumping a little less complex.
These skis are in excellent working condition. Bindings, edges and bottoms are damage free with no chinks or repairs. Tops have some cosmetic
blemishes.
Sno blades are all I ski on. Snow kiting, Down hill, and just goofing around in the yard. I'd be interested but I have 3 pairs already!!
This is a great price for quality blades.cheezycheese - 5-12-2011 at 07:03 AM
Are these good for any size rider.... 6' 210lbs.? Shipping to 12603....?thanson2001ok - 5-12-2011 at 08:29 AM
Regarding sizing, this type of ski kind of defies the traditional concept of sizing skis according to height, weight and skill.
I will get a shipping estimate.rocfighter - 5-12-2011 at 08:29 AM
Most have adjustable bindings and use regular ski boots. I'm 6'3" 200lbs. They work great.thanson2001ok - 5-12-2011 at 09:38 AM
Thanks for the info, Roc. These do have adjustable bindings and fit regular ski boots.
Shipping would be less than $20, probably about $15 to 12603.cheezycheese - 5-12-2011 at 09:39 AM

what makes these easier to learn with.... just the size...?thanson2001ok - 5-12-2011 at 09:49 AM
Size. Easier to turn. Easy to step turn if you need to. Harder to get tips crossed when learning to jibe or jump. Crossed tips = no fun.
My first time on skis with a kite put me on the deck when trying to transition. I had to learn how to time the turn with changing directions with the
kite. The easiest thing to do is to scrub all your speed, come to a complete stop, step turn and get started again. But that gets boring in a hurry.rocfighter - 5-12-2011 at 02:32 PM
Mark if you can ski than these will make the slope to kite transition way easier. Like he said no tip crossing and easier to do quick turns. And there
easy to carry around!!cheezycheese - 5-12-2011 at 02:45 PM
i have never skiied... I also have the skis Sam gave me last year. They are the long kind.shehatesmyhobbies - 5-12-2011 at 02:53 PM
Marc they are awesome! I have two pair myself. I have not had the chance to use them with the kite yet, due to crazy DE snow! But at the slopes they
are awesome. I cannot wait to get some snow time with mine this winter!cheezycheese - 6-12-2011 at 05:38 AM
You do realize that if I buy these I am dooming the entire NE. There will be no snow all year... rocfighter - 6-12-2011 at 06:22 AM

Stray cats all over the North East will be building Cheezy statues out of fallen leaves. Hard work for little paws and there's a lot of standing on

Think it was in the high 50's/low 60's at around 2:00 or 3:00 this morning. Only felt a smidge cooler because of the dampness in the air.
