Last I heard ,in TEXAS . They made the beaches part of their highway system, and the rules of the road apply. Which means no unmotorized or unlicensed
vehicles. Not sure if it is true, but that is what I have been told.

Not a problem in Galveston. I have been buggying there for over 10 years and some locals a lot longer than me.

In state parks flying kites of any type is illegal. Stupid Plover habits and stuff. I got pulled over for buggying on Padre Island in the state park
section. Funny thing is the only bird stupid enough to not get out of my way was the seagulls. Officer was nice even though I was venting to him. OK
OK Yelling at him for a rule he didn't agree with but was enforcing. There was a thread about it http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=18253&p...
