Does anyone have any experience with this kite?
I'm relatively new to power kiting- just started kiteboarding, landboarding and buggying this summer.
I have a chance to pick one of these up for $400, which seems like a pretty good deal. Was thinking it might be good for a light wind kite- but I
figured I'd fish for some opinions since I don't have any experience with the model.
Also, I'm about 150lbs- maybe 155 with gear on, so I'm not sure if this would just be too much kite for me (the largest I've ever flown is a 13m in
school, and I normally fly a 10m Argo).
Thanks!

Mike
Thats alot of high performance kite for your size but the instinct is one of the nicest flying kites Ive seen. At your weight the wind range will be
very small.

for me personally $400 would be the highest i would go on an 08'(LEI) unless it is brand new- unopened in case i wouldnt mind paying a little more
for a model that i want.
So yes, if it holds air, and has no major tears i would say go for it. The instinct is a great kite.

Houston, how does your thruster 16 work in light winds on land?
I know big foils are better for land for the light winds cause they can launch in hardly anything and can use apparent wind once they are up. I am
just curious at what point your 16 stalls out and simply won't relaunch or work anymore.
