Can anyone enlighten me to the windrange of a 19 meter speed 3... I weigh a little over 200 pounds... Is the deluxe I'm curious about... Thanks...

It's on the web page ... Tech Specs - http://www.flysurfer.com/en/produkte/kites/speed3/#Technical...
For me - not 200lbs :o - the 21 is about 8knots plus for riding at least crosswind and not downwind. 10knots I'm jumping and having fun. 14 knots I'm
switching to my smaller board and boosting "big". 16 knots I start worrying about being able to land solo and above 18 knots I'm going for a smaller kite. If I can be bothered :D
IMHO your "Curve of Utility" for the kite will peak lower than mine due to your lighter weight, but I'm guessing your bottom end will only be a little
less - say, 6-7 knots for holding ground.
Problem you encounter then is that as the wind drops and you're riding downwind, you're getting very close to the tough-to-keep-flying wind range ...
2 knots IMO. That is, you can ride closer to the limits than I can

ya... you gott awonder how the real life translation is, tho... i was hoping someone could tell me their own personal experience with the 19m speed
3... how low can i take it in the surf? .... the site doesnt give me that... i imagine 6 knots is for a much lighter rider, no?....

Everyone is much lighter than me
At the competition day we had at the lake in summer, the little dude on the S3 19 and the Flyrace was out first and riding upwind before anyone else.
Fact. It was 5 knots according to the wind meter on the shore ...
Like I said, the lighter you are, the closer to the low-end will be more useful for you. In reality? Dunno ...

Check out the speed 3 thread about the flyboard combo.

I would like a 19 speed3 one day, so looked into it a bit.
this is thread with reasonable amounts of information, not exactly all saying the same stuff, but it's a good read none the less
(post edit) ....some useful info in the first few pages....there is a squabble started by a user called pump me up, skip it from there.

That thread really goes downhill after the third page
Just like tractor pulls, people - there is no replacement for displacement. Sure, you're not going to win the gymkhana with your John Deere but you
can pull a cargo container full of Swedish porn across the middle of their course if you want to zip around, get a smaller kite but don't expect to be able to put your girlfriend on the back and go down the shops for another
pizza
Right tool for the job

haha, hadn't realized that squabble started by pump me up was in there..it's been a while since I've looked at it.
off to do some edits...

When is there not a foil post corrupted by PMU?
