These kite sailing catamarans have not been in production for a few years and very few were made. This KiteCat was deliverd, used once and stored. It
is virtually brand new. It is the newer folding style with the new and improved hulls. Check out the specs here. http://www.lynnkitesailing.co.nz/
MSRP on these was $6,500. Price is $2,500, crated, ready for shipping from Maui, HI. I will make all shipping arrangements and bill you at cost.

I'm in WI, KiteCat is in HI. That would be a looooong road trip. Or an awfully fun sailing adventure!

how many thousands is it going to cost to get it to CA?
thanson2001ok - 21-12-2011 at 09:33 PM
I would estimate $1,500 to CA. I can get an actual quote for serious inquiries.

Who's holding it in Maui? Would love to see one in person while we're there at the end of April (if it hasn't sold by then - not likely...)

How long has it been on Maui? I'm surprised I didn't hear about it while I was still living there. Bet that puppy was a fun ride at Kanaha. You
might be able to ship it on Matson (ship) if you're willing to drive to a port to pick it up. We shipped our truck from Honolulu to San Francisco for
$800 about 5 years ago. But you'd need to ship it to Honolulu first, probably could use Young Brothers (a barge) for that. Used to be fairly
reasonable but who knows what they charge now a days. Wonder if they sell a golf bag big enough to fit one of these.
Weren't there a couple of people looking for one of these earlier this year?

I wish it did fit in a golf bag!
Young Bros will get it to Honolulu. I will have to check out Matson.

Too bad the ferries aren't running anymore, otherwise you could have thrown it on top of your car and driven it to Oahu. Young Bros. used to do loose
item shipping. You drop it off at their station and they load it into a container. Not sure how Matson works with that kind of stuff.
