had a hour and a half session on the Ovando yesterday...........winds started off light 11/12 mph and topped out @ 16. Had her rigged on my new Navigator bar, 26m lines. Rode my 139 TT to chech low end power. First, this is a very powerful and fast kite with short bar throw. You can feel the depower thru the bar and lines but Id guees its like 70 percent at most. This is a full power on, fast, limited depower rig. Def not a beginners kite. Upwind is very good, pulls well into, over, and down the line on waves. Boosting is insane and the float is very good. Be ready to travel down wind while youre up there. Bar pressure is high but not unbearadble. Think of it as a good workout! All in all a good kite but defintely requires experience. The flatter wing designs increases low end but limits top end. At 175 lbs, 17/18 mph would be my top end on a 139TT. On the low end 10mph on a surfboard or Door would easily work at my weight........
