So i'm thinking about selling my 12m charger. It sounds stupid but i don't ever get the chance to use it and i'm feeling guilty for having it just
sit around my house. I've only had enough wind to use a 12m two times in the last year.
Once at NABX and the other on a day at wwbb when the wind was 30-40mph. this kite is fast and will take you huge in big winds. it could get me
moving in 12mph and the top end is propably just above 40 for the experienced landboarder. I don't suggest that unless its a wicked clean sea breeze.
I sold my original 12 charger right after NABX and this new one i've had since jibe. i've used it twice since then in the upper 20s but then it
would only get me off the ground about 8 feet.
What do you guys think? Feyd, todd, Ricardo, Dino, Rich, is this a bad idea to sell it? I love this kite but its so rare to get a chance to use it.
when the wind gets in the 30s here in town its so bumpy/ shifty that its too dangerous and unpredictable to fly.
Its basically new. no damage or wear. still shiny and fresh with nav bar and all the extras.
i'm thinking BEST OFFER if someone is interested. But first i want to hear from you guys on the forum before i sell it to see if i'm being foolish
for selling it. Let me know what you think
am i crazy?g00fba11 - 12-1-2012 at 07:10 PM
:o You will be so bummed if you sell it...... as soon as you do you will have weeks of nukin high wind with no 12m to fly......
Wait until you have one of the new PL arcs in your quiver before selling this.......
If you get going on snow kiting I know your going to miss it.......
sell it and Murphy will show up.... Bladerunner - 12-1-2012 at 07:18 PM
If you don`t have a 10m I think you should keep it. Need it !BeamerBob - 12-1-2012 at 07:19 PM
Soooo. G00f didn't get the paypal password back yet did he?
There is something wrong (or really right) if your 19 is actually a 1 kite quiver.flyjump - 12-1-2012 at 07:32 PM
my 19 is incredible. i can hold it down up to 25mph if the wind isn't shifting around. it is definatly my go to kite. Any wind that is over 25 is
really sketchy for around here. i've never had a good session on my 12 in my field. when i was at the wwbb in the spring it was awesome. plenty of
depower, fast across the window and explosive lift.
the kite is just sitting in my kite room begging to be flownflyjump - 12-1-2012 at 07:34 PM

keep the 12 and demo the 12m tubes................ Id like to hear about
them!flyjump - 12-1-2012 at 07:59 PM
I'd have to demo the tubes at NaBX or the beach.......tubes don't work around here, they after a gust they drop like rocks. I wouldn't mind giving it
a shot thoughthanson2001ok - 12-1-2012 at 08:03 PM
Why keep that old rag. Yeah, that's the ticket. Sell that useless bag of ripstop.
To me!flyjump - 12-1-2012 at 08:08 PM

To me!
hahaha. its a great kite. that 12 is sweet. you were there todd when i had that 19m out in 23+ mph winds. its hard to get clean winds that are
hi enough for the 12 where we liveshehatesmyhobbies - 12-1-2012 at 11:57 PM
IMO, if you sell it Friday, the winds will be nuckn Sat. and you will call me up and say dang dude the winds are nuckn and I just sold my 12m.
A lull in ride time allows our mind to run. You are very talented I would like to keep you in one piece. You cant resist the temptation when the winds
are big.carltb - 13-1-2012 at 04:26 AM
youre so right about inland winds, the higher they are the more gusty they become, so by the time they are strong enough for the 12m (high 20's) they
will be a nightmare. atm my 19m is my go to kite and takes me well into the 20's so for your conditions id say you could get away with the 19m as a
one kite quiver.Taper123 - 30-1-2012 at 07:38 PM
