Does anyone have any movies or pictures of Tugg Hill this past weekend. I didn't get the opportunity to go, but would love to see what it was all
about.
Thanks!

I heard from friends they loved the location and terrain - but there wasn't any wind, what little there was saturday was extremely light.indigo_wolf - 16-1-2012 at 04:09 PM
FWIW: Typing "Tugg Hill Snowkite" into the YouTube Search field will pull back videos from 2011 and earlier.

Sorry, man, I should have got to this sooner, but hanging out in the bitter cold all day has got the better of me this year! On Thursday, I was
worried there would be no SNOW for the fest, but the Tug came through with about 10 inches over the course of Friday, in blizzard conditions. So bad
we dared not even try to set up the Mountain Hardware Basecamp Dome that Zeb brings, and we use for Headquarters. So we arrived early (about 7:00am)
and set it up in only about 10 MPH wind from the NW. Unfortunately the wind dropped off from there. Here is a short vid from Sat.
Sunday the wind was about the same, with bitter cold, though kober got going on his Flysurfer. Today was gusty 20-40! from the SE, which turns out
isn't the best for this site. Very punchy up by the road, but it looked like it smoothed out some over the first ridge. Unfortunately the bitter
cold took it's toll on my batteries, and I didn't get much vid from today, and I havent gone through it yet. I'll try to get something together and
will post when I do.Kober - 16-1-2012 at 06:43 PM
..... So nice to be home in + temperature NJ ....lol..... I have very little time on board ..... and looks like everyone who use foils today run to
some stability problems ...... overflying, collapsing, underpowered, overpowered ...... that was a workout for me to make few runs ......
stepping down from 13m in morning thru 8m to 4.5m at end...... crazy gusty winds did not effect as much pump ups ...... looks like I need way more
experience for rides in conditions like this one ......
1 PL Synergy 12m in air was doing best comparing to all foils ......and experienced rider did look like is overpowered most of time ....... I did
not have courage to take my 12M SYN out and make my fight with gusts less painful.... 8m Syn would be perfect .....
Awesome time with HQ crew and Masskitting group ..... Thanks everyone ....... Good to see again bobalooie, snowspider Rich and Sharon
.....some vid footage to fallow
