Can you tune a trainer??

Took my trainer out today to possibly snowboard for the first time but found the wind to be way too strong for my first time.So I decided just to do a little butt dragging for fun. I tried to keep it around the top of the window to slow it down but it seemed the kite would stick in the top of the window and want to fold the edges when I tried to get it down.. Its a 3m slingshot trainer and wanted to know, can you tune a trainer? Maybe too much wind for this kite?

Is that a 2 line, 3 line or 4 line kite? A lot of trainers are 2 line but most of us would recommend only 3 or 4 line kites. There is a lot more that you can do with them. There is some adjusting you can do with 4 line kites with handles. Probably the easiest is adjusting the break leaders to the length that responds the best. I think we need a little more info.

I usually only recommend 4 line kites with handles unless you want to kitesurf then I might recommend the hydra.

Assuming it is a Slingshot B3, it's a 2 line kite.

There is a an option of installing the Ready Relaunch Kit. Since the attachment points don't only so far towards the tips of the trailing edge, the wingtips collapse when it is used. It's really meant more for relaunching than fine brake control.

The current Slingshot trainers, Wasp 1 and Wasp 2 are dual line only.
