I have mentioned that of my 2 kites the 5.6m twister IIr has a tendency to scare me in the gusty ATL wind. I get nervous that it will pick me up and
hurl me into the ground and seriously hurt me. I HAVE learned that the hard way, and those nerves have a tendency to get in the way of the fun that I
want to have with it.
That being said,... Cheezycheese has offered to trade me his 5.1m PL Core for my 5.6m Twister IIr.
I am pretty sure this would be a good trade, but I'm not sure if I want to do it. I DO like my twister, and think I may get over my nerves, but what I
like most about my other kite (3m Beamer V) is its grunty pull, and not having the feeling like I'll end up in the next county.
What I love about the twister is its pull in relatively low wind. I can put it up in 3-6 mph wind and have fun, but exceeding that I feel like I'll
get lifted up. Does the Core function as well in that wind range?
I'm told Core isn't as lifty, and is a good buggy kite, which is a direction I want to go...

I've already discussed with a few guys i know, and have pretty well been in favor of going ahead with the trade.
I've just read some more reviews as well, and am essentially convinced...

If you want to get into the buggy, the Core will do you MUCH better than the Twister. I speak from personal exp. I had the Twister II 5.6 and I loved
the kite for static flying but I was less than impressed with how it handled in the buggy. I did not like the lift when I first got into the seat, and
upwind left a lot to be desired for me. It could have been because I was new to the buggy at the time and not the kite at all but I do have to ask,
how many people do you see using the Twister as a primary buggy engine? The Core is built for the buggy so this makes the Core the obvious choice in
that situation. Ask Brian Holgate. (or just check out his vids lol) Last I knew, he used the Core on a regular basis out at Ivanpah.
As far as static flying goes, you are on the right track if you don't want a lot of lift. As I am sure you know, ANY kite will lift in certain
conditions however the Core was designed as an engine, not a jumper so I would say your chances of an accidental "OH S**T" (shoot) moment are
substantially less with the Core. This is not to say it can not or will not happen because it can and most likely will. (Again, in certain conditions)
I have been lofted by my Reactor I 4.9, but not the 10-15 feet up the Twister had taken me on occasion. If you do not like a lot of lift, the Core
makes sense here too.
Please consider these are just observations I have made personally. Others may have different input to offer. I hope it helps!

was gonna do it, but just wanted a little extra push to be sure.
And BTW I would LOVE to come down to JIBE, but unfortunately, I have already allotted all my vacation time from work, and will coincidentally be in
the area the following week for an annual family vacation to St. Simon's (which is afforded to me by family). But I've contacted Angus and intend to
meet him when I'm there.
