gettin skooled

one reason I go to NABX is to get Skooled.

Just wondering if any sponsored riders are coming this year ?

Who and what discipline ? Those PL peeps sure showed us what airtime is really about. So good about offering up help! Any of those mountain boarders booked ?

I am sure there will be some awesome trick riders and fast racers. One way I found to improve skills fast is to engage in a game of tag with experienced riders.

The trick to playing tag with the big boys is that you either have to be better than them.............:smug::rolleyes: and or you have to put up as much kite as them. Last year I was trying to decide which kite to put up and after getting all my pads on and thinking about my 3.5m would be best, I asked Stephan what size he was going to fly and he says "6 meter" as if its the obvious choice and that was a combat race kite. Oh, and he's wearing shorts and a tshirt.

Last year, I mixed it up some with Markite (beat me with a smaller kite), Bladerunner (beat me with a bigger kite) and Dino (dead even).

I'm just like Bladerunner. It's fun to have so many great riders out there to "race" with. Loads of fun. And even better than the racing is the trashtalking before you are riding and the humble pie/bragging that goes on after.:bigok:

I do know that Stephan and Popeye are coming again this year. Pretty sure the Flexi boys will be there again.

With luck this will be my first NABX, do you think they will allow a big rig out there? Just the cab portion.

I can't wait!

Yes yes, just drive slow, and stay inside the markers.

This might be a great time to remind everyone that there is NO road out to the staging area.

An artificial road was created some years ago, and we have been trying to get rid of it ever since.

Here's how you do it. Make your own tracks(inside the boundary's). This may sound counter intuitive, but it is not.

The idea is to spread out our load.

Remember, quite often the ranger is out there when we are with radar, you can get a speeding ticket, so keep it down. The limit is posted at the gate.

We will send you all an email right before the event to let peeps know what the rules are again.

All are welcome, please register soon so we can have an accurate t-shirt count!
