whilst activating a safety last year i lost the tophat piece... know what im talkin about???
that little plastic doohickey that slides down over the pin to keep the depower rope attached to the chicken loop.... its a peter lynn bar, and i
imagine that any plastic tophat would fit the function...
do companies still make these things??? or should i just change the whole chicken loop?indigo_wolf - 4-2-2012 at 11:28 AM
what does "not available TFN" mean?dylanj423 - 4-2-2012 at 11:48 AM

thanks... i thought i looked there, but guess i missed itflyguy0101 - 4-2-2012 at 12:05 PM
Last i heard from angus, red alone was no longer available alone, think you need to buy the 07 loop and depower line to get it, But agree should be
available somewhere, but i am considering the change out chickenloop idea as well since i have lost the red hats as well. currently okay but have no
more spares. good luck

TFN = Till Further Notice.
Sorry.... when I see stuff like that I usually just pick up the phone and call Angus.
If Angus doesn't have them on hand, post back.... will try to get you sorted one way or another.

Last time I ordered them from angus I thought he said he'd order a pile of them to keep on hand... Not sure.. I may have an extra floating around if
angus doesnt have one... Let me knoacampbell - 4-2-2012 at 09:42 PM
Sorry Dylan and guys but they are no longer available as of now unless you buy the whole chicken loop assembly - either 04 or 07. They never had a
separate SKU for them, but there was a time where they had some kicking around the office at VO (Peter Lynn Office) and they were kind enough to send
a handful to me. They did not last long after I posted them on the site because when someone loses one, they like to order 2 or 3 at a time to have
as spares. But VO won't offer this option and when I checked in January they had no future plans to provide them as a stand-alone part.
I don't like it either.
Kind of mean spirited, IMO, esp when they could turn turn an easy buck or Euro or whatever on them. It's not like that alone is going to prompt you
spend $400 + on a new Navigator Bar.
Site Updated; sorry for the lapse.ripsessionkites - 5-2-2012 at 04:07 AM
