I was going to bring my wife and doggie, but no dogs allowed at the Shalimar. I have not been able to find any place close that is open and allows a
dog. Anyone know of any in Wildwood Crest NJ?indigo_wolf - 6-2-2012 at 03:16 PM
Lest it need be said, call to confirm...as policies can change like the wind.

Not in Wildwood, but I know The Marquis de Lafayette Hotel in Cape May allows pets on all first floor rooms and the town is a nice stay and busy all
year with tourists, unlike WW. Boardwalk and some cool bars/restaurants right across the street.
10-15 minute drive to The Shalimar.doddg - 14-2-2012 at 12:21 PM
Now it's no dog and possibly no wife at the Shalimar, just made my reservations today, at the Shalimar...barnes - 14-2-2012 at 07:17 PM
Doddg, damn, too late to offer splitting something with myself and my dog?
I'll likely look up camp grounds...Daisy loves camping and sleeping bags.
But, if you're looking for another dog owner to split a room somewhere else, let me know.doddg - 15-2-2012 at 01:23 PM
Darn, oh well. I hate to put her in the cage that long (my dog, not my wife....lol). But I booked a room yesterday there. Thanks so much though. There
will be dogs in my suite, Skydogs, since there will be a pack of us there to join the fun! I am realyragden - 15-2-2012 at 01:42 PM
Wait a minute...
Did I read that right... is Barnes going to be at Wildwood this year?
Sorry for the hijack, but Barnes hasnt been to wildwood in so long I would wonder if he knows how to navigate the silly place...
Sorry to hear you won't be bringing your dog doddg. I thought they allowed pets last year. Or maybe that was just what people were calling the folks
they were sharing their rooms with... Oh well, maybe next time. barnes - 15-2-2012 at 02:07 PM
You heard correctly Ragden! Hell, that towns got so many gawdy signs and nonsense, you don't need to navigate, just look for the lovely Wildwood
landmarks!
...as far as I'm concerned, my dog is more well behaved and hygenic then I am. Though I suppose I am the one with the credit card... (besides, who can
deny a dog with a degree from the presitigous Idaho Canine College?!)WELDNGOD - 15-2-2012 at 10:09 PM

great to have you back here....all we need now....is Brian Lee! Its going to be a great time.......ragden - 16-2-2012 at 08:16 AM
Yeah... Brian Lee is on the other side of the country... Not real likely that he will be around... I still hear from him from time to time... but it
will be great to have a Barnes back on the beach..
(I'll drop Brian a line and see if he can make it.. who knows...)barnes - 16-2-2012 at 10:58 AM
yes! I am terribly excited now, such a warm reception! I should be having a drink with Brian this weekend if all goes according to plan. i'll talk him
into it face to face! He can't say no to me! (though my beard has ruined my youthful puppy dog face....)flyguy0101 - 16-2-2012 at 11:20 AM
Barnes,
I have not met you yet but looking frward to at wildwood- looks like i will have another boarder to fly with
Scottbarnes - 16-2-2012 at 03:27 PM
good deal flyguy! last time I was at wildwood, I was the only one most of the day. wouldn't mind having another boarder to pace with instead of trying
to keep up with buggies!Todd - 16-2-2012 at 04:41 PM
Barnes?? I know of no such Barnes... must be a myth. It'll be good to see you Ryan, long time Brother. I did see Brian while I was out in WA and WOW
he is thin as a toothpick but good to see as well.barnes - 16-2-2012 at 07:00 PM

We keep up this sort of flattery, I will become a living myth of sorts. ..except a really disappointing myth who mooches buggies and kites off of
people. ragden - 17-2-2012 at 05:23 AM
