BUT does this not look like arc with a bridle? maybe i haven't been paying attention maybe herc mentioned it.

The Frenzy Ultralight is a pretty incredible kite. Weighs in at a fraction of the original Frenzy for launching in lighter winds. Anyone who has
tried to launch a Frenzy (or any depowerable kite) in light winds knows that the weight of the sail makes the kite so heavy that you really can't even
get it in the air unless the winds are a minimum of 7-8 mph. Even then you have to work like mad to get it to fly. With the Ultralight, you can
launch it easier because it weighs so much less.
This is the same technology that Ozone has used in their new ultralight paraglider design. It is not the same as an ARC as it still has an open
leading edge, but with the added reinforcements it does kind of give that look in the videos.
Another huge benefit of the Ultralight is that it is lighter to carry. Making packing it around much easier - as well as travelling on a plane or
other.
Very sweet kite for sure...

ultra light weight (actually i would love to know the weight in kg - anyone?), but ultra heavy in price. this is one of the most expensive kites
available.
i bought myself a 12.5 sqm zebra slope - also on a light weight depower kite with thin race bridles. but much easier on the wallet (440 euro with 20%
discount) . first review coming this week - kite arrives tomorrow.

i dont like the safety... i see death spirals (could be wrond tho)
on a side note the red/blue/yellow color scheme is not my favorite 
other than those two gripes: prolly a pretty cool kite

nimble looking unit, just its deep arc shape + the bridles....i just don't see that collapsing even in gusty air,
and its open cell? why couldn't u put valves on it? i thought it would be closed cell.

Totally open cell.
The new flagout feature is incredible and works perfectly. You can still drop the kite to the re-ride system, the flagout setup is optional. Once
you pull the flagout safety, there is no chance of death spiraling at all. It collapses the kite in half and kills 100% of any power, regardless of
winds.

I don't think its that uncommon for foil makers to be giving their kites more of a C kite shape nowadays. I'm not trying to pimp but Gin started
stating that was their intention way back with the Eskimo III series and it continued into the IV and the Yeti.

FWIW, they also started with a complete 5th line bridle (not 3 or 4 center bridle points like FS and now Ozone) back in 2008. A proper 5th line
setup is bomb proof for total kill in any conditions. I'm glad to see others are incorporating that technology. I really didn't think FS did a good
job with it on the Pulse 2 (kite didn't fold evenly, could flap around too much - inflato problem most likely and some had problems with internal rib
lining's popping). Hopefully, and I'm being sincere, Ozone did a better job. Its a great feature if it tacos the kite evenly without too much stress
on too few tabs.
Love the look of the Ozone in that vid. Looks top notch all around.

thanks for the pic B roc! certainly gives a good show of the c shape . looks a lot like, and including frenzy, the SS rpm canopy. or vice versa.
what a huge amount choices the beginner/novice encounters, not to mention the brand choice.
after exactly fours years on PKF and flying a mother load... decisions aren't easy. even for seemingly educated.
guess i'll have to fly them all...alot.
