I don't know how you guys riding so good on a sand, i try ones, and i just can't move, my board digs in and my kite drags me of the board. i got my
matrix cause i didn expect that its going to be so hard to learn. this kite picked up me and my girlfriend freeborn, way to powerful for beginner.cheezycheese - 29-2-2012 at 05:42 PM
Yes, this kite is to much for a beginner. Perhaps if you try a smaller kite you might find the fun you are missing. What beach are you riding at...?
Soft sand is the enemy. You need some good hard pack to get rolling... :roll:acampbell - 29-2-2012 at 06:10 PM
WHOAH! not a beginners kite, like Cheesy said. Great kite but needs to be trimmed properly and this will be apparent to someone who has flown depower
before. Think of an Apex or Montana. But the bigger picture is that you are having trouble with your surface. We fly on hard- pack sand at low tide,
which is almost like concrete. Where are you flying? We hate to see you disappointed for the wrong reason.tridude - 29-2-2012 at 07:08 PM
yep Matrixx is a great package.....................ACampbell makes a good point on the surfaces youre flying on....................good luck on you
sale.........try posting on foilzone as well if youre set on selling...................DimaHQ12m - 1-3-2012 at 02:16 PM
Thanks people! it was soft sand, i guess thats the unswer! I'm thinking now maybe i should keep it. Riding was spoiled but i did big jumps, thats the
fun part))) but than dragg my self back, with kite in the weakest part of the window was very hard! Fly 15 second and 10 min back!!!!))))MikeDobbs - 1-3-2012 at 06:18 PM
Hey Dima- I live on Long Island and a bunch of the folks here on PKF ride with me at Long Beach. When the tide is right there's plenty of good hard
pack sand there for you to work on your board skills.
You're welcome to join us next time we head out there- we always post on the forum before we go.
Also- if you have a tough time finding good places to ride on land you may want to think about taking some lessons and hitting the water with that
Matrix this summer. :wee:
We've got tons of beautiful kiteboarding spots in the NYC/LI area and from what I hear the Matrix is beautiful on the water.DimaHQ12m - 8-3-2012 at 07:56 PM
