*VIDEO* Buggin' Southwick Beach, 3-4-12

So I left the house yesterday morning hoping to get the last of the snowkiting here, as temps are predicted into the 50's F, this week. I stopped at the Hanno lot on Tug Hill, closest to home, but with the west wind comes a lot of turbulence there, and a definite "dead zone" in one corner of the lot. Over a foot of snow there, so I decided to go on down 177 toward Adams, to the Killenbeck Rd. lot, but the snow disappeared around Rodman. I decided to head to Southwick Beach, and see if the beach was rideable. I was able to make it 3/4 of the way to "The Cut", about 3 miles, in one direction. Here's the video!

Do you ever have any companion on that spot to buggy with you ???? .... and what happened with Tug Hill footage from event ???

Hey, thanks guys. @ Phree, primary reason for turning around was I was getting a little fatigued! Secondary was the 'driftwood forest' seemed to be getting thicker! @ Kober Yeah, this spot is definitely under utilized. Once in a while, Pat(snowspider)will come up and buggy, but so far that's it! My friend Jan, who got me into this sport through snowkiting, had an old Rockville buggy, which he sold to a local guy that to my knowledge has not used it. I have contacted him a few times when I was heading out, but he was always busy with something else. Best thing is there is no tide to worry about, so any time you are free, and the wind is from the west, c'mon up!(Bring a short set of lines, though!)
