today i recived my new and first ever kite.
i bought a crossfire 4.0.
just a little question the wind at the moment in my area is around 5-6mph (south wales uk).
will this be enough wind to get my kite in the air?
can't wait to start flying :singing::singing::singing::singing::singing::singing::singing:
:P:P

I flew my kite today and i love it. got a bit of a problem when in the zenth the front of the kite folds down but i think it was because of light
winds.
I cannot belive how much power and lift the kite produces
i love it such a rush and scary

Now just bring it out in more wind (little by little) and you'll be on your way to kite bliss. Have fun - fly on Luke,
Joe

I've been debating between the 3.2 and the 4.0.
I don't have a kite yet, but I've flown a 3.2.
How much do you weigh?
I'm 195 pounds, which I guess is about 15 stone.
I think.
luke1000 - 27-5-2006 at 12:47 AM
11 1/2 stone (160) and the kite can lift me off the ground quite easy in the right wind.
i would def go for the 4.0m:D
Happy kiting

crossfires are well nice kites. I see you are from the UK luke, where abouts are you based. If anywhere near northampton quite a few of us fly down
here. you going to flexiwallop this weekend?

Yeah, pretty much any kite will behave poorly at the edges of the wind window in light winds, It should smooth out for you when you get it in a lil
more wind.
