I thought I read that we will have a DJ on Saturday at WW...I also read about a band not being able to make it....

Is anyone interested in playing some instruments together at night down by the pool. I have a couple drums and small hand held instruments that I could bring. I play the harmonica! Just a suggestion.

Jam session ??? lol.... I wish that I did not stop to learn piano ....... harmonica , guitar , piano and base playing tear squeezing blues .....

..... love live music ..... +1 for BEC Live !!!!

Post is a little misleading...I DO NOT want to play on Saturday night. Just thought a couple beers on Thursday or Friday while hanging out would be fun.

I can't carry a tune in a wheelbarrow, But I have no problem listening to some heavy deep down blues. AH I remember the night I met Keb Mo at a Joe #@%$#!er concert in Springfield MA. Oh but I degress, So yeah I like music.

This is something you might want to run by the managers of the Shalimar before you take this too far (that is, if someone hasnt already done that). We may not be the only ones staying there... Just sayin.

I do not mind some tunes, but in the past, conversations have normally been loud enough that I do not think any music would have been heard...

Interesting idea though....

My son Morgan has a set of bongos and natural rhythm , and my son Ian has been known to play the wooden man on a stick (for real its a wooden puppet thing bouncing on a flat stick). I always come prepared for fun!

I was thinking more unplugged and just a few people...guitar, harp and little drums....I agree with respect to others on being quiet. This was something I was thinking about as soon as we are done on the beach....Not something to the wee hours of the morning. We could also get together on the beach as well if the noise was too loud for right outside the rooms.

I'll bring my Ovation Acoustic.
I have forgotten more than I can remember, but can lay down a few blues riffs.
