Decided to get some seat time early today so woke up bright and early and hit the park. Winds were low around 8 mph so I grabbed the Bego, set up,
launched, and hopped in the Scout. This kite is awesome in low wind! (as if I had to say it) Was able to get up on 2 wheels but still not able to hold
it up. No biggie, just keep trying! Wind held steady for about 20 min and then as if someone flicked a switch it jumped up to 12-15! Seemed
overpowered but I kept the Bego in the air anyway.
Kept working on 2 wheeling and I must have found the sweet spot because I started staying up on 2 longer. Started playing with kite position in the
window as well as balance and about 15 min later there it was! Got a full field run on 2 wheels! Keep in mind when I say full field, it was probably
only 70 yards MAYBE 75 but as crowded as this park is with soccer goals, thats a full field to me. I was not able to get the full ride again bit half
rides were getting much easier.
Decided to compare the Bego against the Blade in similar wind so I landed the Bego, staked it down, and reached for the Blade bag. I don't know if it
was merely coincidence but as I started to unzip the Blade I heard a siren in the distance. Ok, I'll take that as a hint. Zipped the Blade up and put
her down. I swear I heard a demonic voice from inside the bag say, "Soon..."
Good thing I put it away because not 5 minutes later it started getting a little gusty. Reached for the Reactor 4.9 and that was gravy. Lots of quick
sprints from end to end, and a little more 2 wheel practice. Still not another full run but a few more halves.
By this time I had been out there for a couple of hours and was ready for a couple more but the park started filling up so I packed up and started
heading to the car. A couple of guys stopped me on the way to the car and said they had seen me riding and asked what it was all about so I spent a
few minutes telling them about what we do, safety measures, etc. Asked them if they wanted to give it a try.(had my Vipers with me as usual :lol
They were leaving and didn't have time but we exchanged numbers so hopefully this is
catching on here!
Theres just something about getting some seat time, even if it is short lived, that puts a smile on ones face the rest of the day!

Sounds like a good day- i had te same expeience on sunday took the bug out forthe first time in months and had fairly clean wind, 10ish gust to 15, so
put up the apex 7.5 and got to ride for about 2 hrs. Interesting thing was my spot is half parking lot, half grassy gravel and all surrounded by some
wide gravel "roads" i focused on trying to reach all 4 corners which was a real challenge but was successful with only a few falling kite moments
(downwind is a b@tch). Was absoultely amazed when on the pavement- real fast real quick- makes me jealous of Beamer bob and the lakebed.

Flyguy grip equals speed and in general only more will do.

Nice ride Mougl! Yes, seat time is generally a day maker.
Yep, the grippy hard as pavement surface is scary at first and then you come to expect it. I rode in the park the other night on grass and it was
like someone tied a hay bale to the back of my buggy. So much resistance.

Sounds great. I wish I had a place with in 40 minutes of the house to ride like that. Our fields are now off limits as they have started spreading
manuer on them thick for the hay season.:ticking::barf: Well I could still ride there. But I won't
