Ever wanted to fly but didn't want to have to sit thru flight school? Here's your chance!
Up for grabs is my Blade VIP. Comes kite and bag only.
Kite has seen a total of about 30 min of use. I do not jump nor do I have future plans to jump and the Bego covers my low end nicely. Package is like
new, can still see the creases in the fabric where the kite came folded in the bag! NO damage NO repairs of ANY kind. I could not even find a grass
stain on it anywhere. This is essentially a brand new kite!
$525 shipped conus
Disclaimer: If you are not an experienced kiter, please do not post or U2U, I will NOT sell this kite to someone who lacks the skills necessary to fly
this beast safely. I don't mean to sound like a jerk but this kite is NOT for beginners.

Thank you for doing your part in not adding to the YouTube pool of kiting train wrecks.
Best of luck finding a good home for it with an experienced pilot.

Honestly, I would rather put it thru a shredder than have someone who does not have the experience buy it and hurt themselves.furbowski - 15-3-2012 at 07:18 PM
I'd give that puppy a home, but no cash...
First one for sale on the forum! Hope more come as I save up....

+1 for the warning.
Everytime someone says he/she wants a Blade, they should watch carefully those clips and question how experienced they are.
I know I would love to fly one but my brain says "no way".
Good luck with the sale and thank you Sam, for the clips.
Regards

Proper kite for the proper conditions + common sense + respect. Shouldn't be too bad. I was taught to buggy with a Blade.
BTW: when I look at the thread title, I see Blade:Rip... And think omg what did he do... dandre - 16-3-2012 at 06:23 AM

Kiteguru would take that kite and tandem someones 8 Y.O. all day with it. On 2 wheels ! bobalooie57 - 16-3-2012 at 07:19 AM
When I first met him, and was taken on as "ballast" he made that 2 wheel offer to me, I had to decline - 8 year olds are braver! cheezycheese - 16-3-2012 at 07:36 AM

Just picturing the seasoned veteran with the seasoned model Blade going up against the youngster with the shiny new ripstop. We could sell tickets!

Bego?mougl - 16-3-2012 at 07:01 PM
I have one of those already :evil:WELDNGOD - 16-3-2012 at 07:06 PM
My money is on the Bego. I think the liftyness of the blade is gonna come in to play at some point. i.e. incredible sidepull causing you to break
tractionmougl - 16-3-2012 at 07:09 PM
That's why the Blade is up for grabs and not my Bego I don't need
lift. I dont want lift. I know the Bego has some lift, all kites do. I just feel more in control wioth the Bego than I ever did with the Blade. Not
that the Blade is some out of control beast but the Bego suits my riding style much nicer.WELDNGOD - 16-3-2012 at 07:12 PM
The bego is for racin', the blade more for aerial freestyle like buggy jumping and such.BeamerBob - 17-3-2012 at 09:29 AM
Craig Sparkes set his speed pb (in a Flexi Scout no less) with a 4m Blade. Over 62 mph.WELDNGOD - 17-3-2012 at 02:27 PM

You're killin me with this. I don't need it and right when I've managed to turn away and figure something else is better for me, you reduce the
price. I wonder what buggy you're raising money for?mougl - 22-3-2012 at 09:44 PM
Buggy is covered, time for kites that will power it. Fast kites.

That's the problem. I don't like trigger safeties! I think I'm going to be ok now. I ordered a set of those Recon gps goggles with the light
adjusting lenses. HUD at speed baby!mougl - 22-3-2012 at 09:59 PM

This kite saved the day today. Got rolling in the buggy in 3-4 mpg (soccer field in a flexi scout)

Every year, hundreds of kites go hungry due to lack of the right wind conditions, work schedules, or neglect. These same kites could have a bright
future if only given the chance. Instead they stay in their bags, lonely, never seeing the light of day. They hunger for your attention and time in
the sky.
For a small donation of $525 this kite will be shipped to your door in the conus and you can rest easy at night knowing you made a difference in this
kites life. Won't you help give this kite the love it deserves?mougl - 1-4-2012 at 08:40 AM

Thanks for the offer Scott, but she is on her way to her new home in the next day or two. Sad to see her go really, the last session reminded me what
an amazing kite she really is! Too bad my static jumping days are over.Drewculous - 3-4-2012 at 03:30 PM

Not scared, smart. Believe me, I jumped with it every time I took it out...my knees remind me why I shouldn't jump every time though. Sad to see her
go but she's going to a good home. My knees are thanking me loldandre - 3-4-2012 at 05:12 PM
I have learned my lesson about static jumping; but with a ATB coming I am lusting dangerously to get into the VIP room.mougl - 3-4-2012 at 05:27 PM
If you can get one, snap it up! VIP is an amazing kite...just doesn't get it in the buggy for me. Awesome kite if you want to jump the buggy but I'm
not a buggy jumper dandre - 3-4-2012 at 07:16 PM
