Nobody told me this could happen.... 48 hrs and i haven't launched anything. Best i can hope for is some lite breeze
late this afternoon. What's a guy suppose to do? Will going
back to the kayak help at all? Suggestions much appreciated.
i already gave my motorcycle to the local shop to sell. Everytime i looked at it i saw a couple of kites

Man we've all been there!
I suggest you find something to do when the winds don't blow.
If you think 2 days of no wind is bad, wait for the summer :flaming:

I got plenty of wind but the non-stop rain kind of kills it.

was 20mph gusting 60mph here..... i got wind... its just not useable
There was a point today when it was 40 gusting 55-60 and i almost took out the rage... almost.... oooooo, took some talking to convince me
not to
i think im going to make a wyoming windsock for the field... and snap a pic of 3/8 chain at 80 degrees out

SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard)...do it on the ocean in waves, on a lake or on a river (rapids!!!)...lots and lots of fun!!!

bust out the kayak. I'm already preparing for a horrible summer, and I live on a lake.
I've learned life is 1 part kite sport 3 parts stuff non weather dependent.
unless you live in an area red in the avg windspeed maps.
Paragliding/BASE might help?

16;30 yesterday winds picked up to 10mph. got out there for an hr.
Static - first time ever in a harness 5m hq scout 2. it really helped me out.
think i'm looking out the window at 10-14 right now......so all better right now.

Starting in October last year we didn't have wind for a month and a half. Consider yourself lucky.

Just fly static. Put up a lot of ripstop and call it exercise;-)
Check out Donnies vid in the "Got wind? Nope...." thread.
