Its definitely been really weird this year weather wise. I was snowkiting last weekend, and two nights ago the hill was dry enough for some downhill on the atb. Checked the weather and this afternoon its 20km gusting to 30km East. Gonna get in some kite landboard on a smallish field that is perfect for that rare wind direction. Spring has sprung! Let the windy season begin.:wee:

good news , heats coming it will be wed. before anything here. even the last front had 5-8mph on the ground . super light thermals been given me relieph. got some vid thru the midday boil. V13, stock unit, fabrics is completely blown the last 1000hrs at the beach has its life nearing its end. i think this unit came from snow ???borohead, pkf, but has done a lap at NABX 11. vid somewhere, at the start.

today, unit has uncrackable autozen, proves solid and grunty in sub 9 thermal action sailkote would add some stiffness back into the old bag, but may strain it beyond just great internal pressure ( and fractional mass +). UV kill....slow cooked into retirement.

Went out and road the park. Had maybe three runs that went well the rest were crappy. My 9m frenzy would be powered up all was good then nothing. The run length is good enough to build some speed, but I now understand that it runs fast to the window edge and loses power. Even with trim all the way out and diving it straight down from zenith it would shoot to the edge with bar choking it back as much as possible. I fought to keep upwind for an hour then gave up. Need lots of space to allow it to really run I think. Better luck next time. It was just dumping down rain two hours ago. Really weird last year it was -40c with a foot of snow this day.
