Oh, that's lovely. But if I can pay $100 more for a Speed3 19, It makes me think it might be priced a tad high.

Not sure where your shopping to get a Speed 3 19m regular fabric kite for $1900, but I haven't found a REGULAR fabric Speed 3 19m for under $2100. My kite has the special Skytec Fabric and as noted is practically brand new. When I bought it it was $2400. One owner, flown once, stored in a cool dry climate controlled house. I tell you, I wish I could use this kite, I love it, but where I live it's either over 10 mph winds or dead calm. I use the hell out of my Flysurfer Speed 2 10m and 6m kites and will never sell them. Rock solid kites.

I have just started to test the waters with selling this kite so I would say that yes, I am a little high, but that is where most start when selling something. I would gladly entertain any offer you or anyone else on this forum would like to propose. I will move around on this price. And thanks for the replies because you guys are giving me an idea of where I need to be on price.

I recently purchased a one-owner, used Speed 3 19m deluxe in "A" condition with an Infinity 1.0 bar for around $1,600.

There's been a few Speed 2 19m posted for sale here in the last couple of months. You can search and see what the used market is bringing.

Nice kite, though. Good luck on your sale.

I can't say for sure but yes I do know that there have been 19m speed3 DLX for 1800-2100. My suggested price would be around $1400. Because it is in such great condition with such little use.

Thanks again guys, I will definitely consider your suggestions and make adjustments to the price. I figured this would be the best place for good constructive feedback on selling my kite.

I guess that's the negative side of loving an item so much that you think it's worth more than what the market will price it at.

So many great kites for sale right now..... but this always happens around NABX..... lots of fine ripstop I wish I could snap up.....

kite is in great shape but the fair market value is $1150 to $1200.....................I sold my custom SA2 19 2 yrs ago in "cherry" condition with a tune up by Powerzone on its way to the buyer for $1275. I understand sentimental value but these kites are getting on in yrs. Again, nice looking sale but I do know a thing or two about FSers and their value. If your price is reduced to $1200 this kite will sell in under 24 hours.......................

Yep...gotta agree with Tri on this one. Whatever you choose to do, good luck with your sale.

i totally regret selling my 19. i got lots of good session in 8mph. it luffed a few times and i caried it home in a wad once, but that thing was my low wind ticket! so far, my s3/21 has not performed in the light air....

tridude - 2-4-2012 at 07:38 PM

19m SA2 is the "King"......................

Wow...that surprises me. I thought the 21 would have had the same low end power. I am glad to know this because even though I have no desire to get rid of my speed 2 19m, the 21 was on my wish list.
