Been looking around for a beginner budget board and seems the prodigy is one thats half ways cheap and easy to find used. Im 210lbs and will be using
a 13m venom. I would love a door but their spendy. Give your input on a prodigy or any other cheap boards.

I have an 2009 Prodigy 158, no regrets, great lightwind, easy upwind board. Sorry not selling mine :wink2:

with the 13 venom and 210 you will need solid 18-20mph. beginner right?
if you go out less powered it will be chllenging. the more wind, the better!
board is a good start, i think it has concave channel. if so definitely need 20+

I gave up on the prodigy since it seems most boards are going wider for easier starts and faster planing.. I found a local Slingshot Ignition 150 for
sale. Any reviews for that one?
