Not enough Made In America......

So, with NABX coming up next week and camping on the agenda, I thought I would share a little bit about the best tent made in America.

These guys make these awesome tents one at a time - BY HAND! They are not mass produced by a big off shore factory. I have one of these tents myself, it is now over 20 years old and is still the best tent I have ever purchased. They set up super easy and one person can assemble the entire tent by themselves - without a massive 20 page instruction manual. Just stake it down, put in the springbars, pop it down and put up the sides poles. Once staked, the tent sets up in less than 2 minutes.

It's nice to see a family business that prides itself on customer service, durability and excellence. No wonder they have been the Best Tent In America for many many years!

Looks real nice. But it would suck to hike 200 miles with that and a pack on my back!!

I have had my Springbar tent out at Ivanpah in +40mph winds - not one issue at all. All other tents either collapsed, bent poles or ripped. My tent states that it sleeps 8 - We had 14 of us in there that night and there was still more room than most people have with 3 in a tent. :)

It is definitely NOT one to go hiking with though.
