I just got the "you better slow down on your kite purchases" talk from the wife....

I guess that means I better start buying kites all in the same color combinations...lol

Yeah...that will happen. My trick is to sell my old stuff on ebay, then use the PayPal $$ to buy more kites! I try to stay out of the family funds...

Trick is getting her into kiting, amazingly enough, the average wifey is happy flying kites small enough to be your high wind kite. And you being the loving hubby you are wouldn't want to take that away from her would you, no choice but to buy her a kite..... Cause you love her so much.

of course... I DID get her into kites... the only problem right now is our 4 year old doesn't like us to have fun...lol

In fact, that's how I always do it... I get something and I get something for her... In her case, it was a beatle2100...lol

Unfortunately, last night, she picked up the handles of my Revolution SLE... I guess I'll just have to get a Blast or something for me now...lol

Yup, don't want to stop her from having fun, but just think, at 4 yrs old, only a couple more years before you'll need kites for the little one.

Just bought our first 0.7m for our 6yr old.

hhhaha you guys should be like me.. waste all your money you were gonna move out with on big silly kites and be 20 still living at home where the food and rent is free and all you have to cope with is the parent around.......

Pablo - 20-5-2006 at 11:43 PM

Yeah, but now I have the whole house to hang kites out to dry and such.

lol...no wonder...

She got me a Revolution Blast for my birthday!

I guess that's one way to be kept from buying something...

And she let me go out for a 4 hr flying session all by myself :singing:

now, while I can fly mt SLE with no problems, 2 hrs of my 4 were spent in total frustration with the Blast... who can give me some pointers on the bridle settings and best way to fly it considering that I CAN fly a SLE? The winds here yesterday were about 10mph and not all that steady....

Good God, I'm in kite heaven...

And I won't consider myself complete until I can't fit any more kites in my trunk...
