Peter25 - 13-4-2012 at 07:28 AM

hello well i have a glidemastor gtx 350...yes with and 'o'. it's for the most part a solid buggy. the seat is falling apart I wanted see if the seat for a flexifoil scout buggy would fit on my buggy

here's the link to the seat http://www.powerkiteshop.com/flexifoil_buggy_seat.htm

Bless your heart that you got scammed by the nemesis of all that fly, and design kites and equipment. Flexi seat should fit right in there. Most seats on similar buggies swap right out.

I have a Scout and can take measurements if you need, but Bob is right; it should work with some tweeking.

I might be getting a new seat a WBB next week and if so, my original flexifoil seat (still in great condition) would be available. Just letting you know. I will touch base with the gentleman that is providing it.

Oh snap, WHO sold you that piece o #$% buggy?

Seriously tho, the seller is our most well-known scammer (hence my avatar).

@BEC if you get a new seat U2u me and maybe we can deal!

@acampbell the main issue is that it keeps tearing in awkward places. I think i have in correctly set up its a bit uncomfortable considering the back support is made of plywood and the cusion is a torn up T shirt. the back support rests on the back axel

@Erratic and Bob Suprising it has lasted me for quite awhile (no bends or break in metal. However, the hardware sucks very soft metal i replaced it with some 12mm steel bolts I had to use some washers to get the right spacing for the wheels i wasn't entirely thrilled about that because one wheel spins more free than the other) some issues with the "top cap for the front wheel" (garbage threading!) its more for competition than freestyle which i would like to move to more freestyle over all for $350 it wasn't a bad buggy to learn on...

You can also talk to Rich( shehatesmyhobbies) @ eastcoastkitesports. He deals with PL seats and custom ones from Van (VTT)...both of which will work for a replacement on your buggy.
