As you can see from the pic, the side rails are very short on the front section. it does not come back and up farenough to provide back support.
My suggestion for those that are looking for a seat with better back support is to also upgrade the rails. Basically the xr+ rail kit with 2" wider
rear attachment points and now you a flexi upgrade kit.

I post this because I have a few people interested in using my Cricket seat for their flexi. If there is enough interest, i might design a seat to
fit the oem rails. Best bet would be to just upgrade the rails also.

Since the regular Cricket seat will not do, I've been experimenting with a few different design and settled on a modified Cricket seat. This way, I
can use existing patterns to make the Flexifoil upgraded seat. Since there are no rails to provide back support, a large piece of hard back support
is placed in a pocket on the back. It is then held in an upright position with the help of straps going back to the axle and two set of straps to the
side, one on bottom and one on top (adjustable).

Van thats looks sweet! Just seeing this for the 1st time.
Did your friend actually get to try it out? It looks like the seat attachments to the frame will allow you to run both wide and short axel.
Any word on the other buggy bling...? wheels?
We will talk soon. Have a great rest of the Sunday afternoon
