Hi all! I'm a new user to the forum, after getting into power kiting recently. I decided on an HQ Rush IV Pro 300 for my first trainer and love it so
far, though so far I've only flown it in light to moderate conditions in local parks with my two feet on the ground.
I'm interested in getting a mountainboard for kiteboarding and (eventually also) for skijoring with my dog in the park (without a kite!). I'm

very nice board. looked great for high speeds, and very stable. seemed like a great board for carving. but yeah, Phree will be able to help you much

lars, haize is a great starter, easy balance, super stable at any speed. zero wobble!
as a kiting platform for cruising and speed it can not be beat. it smooths out rougher surfaces nicely. not as nimble as traditional freestyle
boards for aerial stuff but i had no trouble jamming serious air on it. Easy handling, very predictable definitely lower pull over rate for sure.
Great for learning, high grip will help newbs gain confidence with point of sail riding. For all day freerides, i would easily choose this unit
over a lighter freestyle board for the cruise speed alone. It in general is a nice mix of snow board/longboard feel and quite forgiving with the

North American, Yes. Canadian, not at the moment.
But sending it over the border is not a problem. I have been known to take things as far as the other side and mail them out for a few people, has
worked in the past and I am sure it will work again in the future.

lars, just a tip for mountain boarding with your dog(s), you will want a brake on your mountainboard for the safety of your pets and yourself. I've
done a lot of board towing behind my dogs (two siberian huskies) and it's likely that they will stop to smell or relive themselves when you are at
speed. I don't know if I've seen a brake used with Flexboardz, but if not there sure to be a way to adapt a brake from another manufacturer for your

Absolutely second what ride_VW says about a brake when ski-joring with the dogs! I've had some interesting falls taking my best friend's pitbull out

Good to know about the brake. I have always wondered about getting towed by a dog but didn't think about needing a brake. Flexboardz does have a
brake option but I haven't seen it (never needed one). Jeff would have to get it for you.
Just wanted to add my opinion about the board. Suspension is great! I have only ridden MBS boards to compare against but I like the Flexboardz much
better. I like the carving better and the stability better. I have had speed wobble with the MBS but not with the Flexboardz. The weight is easily
adjusted to. The stock wheels roll better on pavement but I am preparing to try the road tires too. I feel like my balance is better on the
Flexboardz. WhenI need to turn toward the kite the Flexboardz turns much quicker. I have kicked the board off a couple times but I haven't been
pulled over and drug on my front like had I had on the other boards. Once I tried one I knew I would buy one eventually because I liked it that much
better. The flexboardz also does better on softer surfaces and smooths out rough surfaces.lars - 18-4-2012 at 06:55 PM

What do people do when they longboard behind a dog. They don't have brakes do they?
