So, I'm landing frontrolls, backrolls, footouts, and on ground handle passes consistently.... what's next. Carl, I know you go inverted on some of
your spins, what's the trick w/ that? Also, I'm a tall guy (6'2") and I don't know if that's why, but I can rarely get a hold of my grab handle mid
jump. I don't think ab strength is a problem, but IDK.
So, what would be a good next step? 720s? Inverted spins? I don't know what to put my concentration on.

add loops, more power, unhooked, rallies and blind stuff. the handlepass looks off the my list the shoulders are complaining too much!
rallies are good unhooked start, add the loop at the beginning so its not big deal.
cool with the new tricks, my injuries as tempered my desire but still throw them when the wind is perfect. get some vids going man!

Does anyone have a recommendation for being able to reach the grab handle?

i need a time machine.

ah, but I am young..... so it makes no sense If I start with it in my hand from the ground I can jump into it.... frustrating

waist or seat harness? with a seat i can kinda do it.
PHREERIDER - 17-4-2012 at 12:15 PM
really have to roll back( head back, feet up) kick the board up like a table top and grab . i just can't "ball up" enough to make easy. harness
position... go from one side. i just don't have the flexibility to make it fun.
jump starts are a good start. fo sho, keep at it!

I have a waist harness and think that it may be part of the problem

I've just started doing tail grabs... too fat to reach the other edges

Bend ze knees!! You're probably straightening your legs out as your bringing them up, so instead use gravity & go for the grab on the way back
down. Don't be afraid to land still holding onto the handle. Start with trying an "Indy tap", then work up to a grab, then move your hand to the
handle. If you can squat on the beach & hold you handle you can do it in the air. Good luck

Bending ze knees doesn't help when ze stomach and harness all co-operate to put the handle ju-uuust out of reach
