Well hello everyone! I am new around here and after scrolling thru pages and pages of locations I can't really find anything for the Seattle Area. I
love heading over to Ocean Shores when I can but it is a 3 hour drive one way and I would really love to find a place I can fly a little closer.
Currently I fly a 3 meter kite on a bar and I have a two string stunt kite that never comes out anymore after I got to feel a good gust of wind in my
3 meter I am going to go for a 5 meter here very soon (time being I only fly
static).
Getting back on topic, all the beaches around here are filled with people who seem oblivious to their surroundings. I don't ever launch my kite in an
area with people in it but that has never stopped people from walking into the area I am using and hanging out... I would love to just find a place I
can have fun and not have to worry so much about the general public trying to get clotheslined by my kite strings.
Also, I don't know anyone who flys kites so if any of you Seattle Area folks (there has to be a few) ever want to meet up sometime to have some fun

You may want to try Magnuson Park in Seattle, Marymoor Park in Redmond or 60 Acres Soccer Fields near Totem Lake. Contact bigkid, he sometimes flies

I fly in Seattle, Redmond, Woodinville, Kent, Renton, West Seattle, Quincy and a few other places. Don't fly at Volunteer park if you don't want get
you car broke into or stolen.

I travel all over Washington for my job and have always wanted to pull out in the parking lot on the bridge that crosses the Columbia on I-90, I am

Thats the Vantage Bridge in the town of Vantage. Yep, its always blowin there.

Warning: Going to Vancouver for the wind is a lot going to Hell for the snow.
