I think it was Claude who went flying outta the buggy. The little run to ditch the kite was pretty darn funny. (Sorry Claude)PHREERIDER - 29-4-2012 at 05:17 PM

Nice vid WELDNGOD- thanks for sharing. And what was with that lady with the dog? Is it just me or was she intentionally "sicking" that little guy on
us as we went past? WELDNGOD - 29-4-2012 at 05:39 PM

Thanks for sharing bud. I didnt catch any of me in your video, but when you are screaming past people at 40 mph, might be hard to catch...
Couple folks on landboards taking a beating! That looked painful!rocfighter - 30-4-2012 at 06:17 AM
It was nice to see flyguy not getting is A$$ kicked in a video!!
The lady was telling the beastie to catch us. I wonder if she does this at home with cars I get nervus when beasties chase me. I'm worried about squashing them.snowspider - 30-4-2012 at 06:33 AM
That does look like Claude coming out of the buggy. I could add my own OBE. About to get turned arround and head back into the dunes , buggy headed
south kite headed north... Where kite go body follow. Whacked my right hip , the kids named the massive brusing Barney.carltb - 30-4-2012 at 09:16 AM

The pylons, or pilings? Those are actually around water drainage pipes. Generally you can either go high where there arent any pilings around them
(sand is softer), down below (when the tide is low enough) or between them. Amusingly, most buggys will actually fit just fine. However, one mistake,
and you might not make it through (I got pulled sideways into one at 25-30mph... still limping from that hard landing).
Generally, these are pretty easy to avoid. It is not like they sneak up on you. They are easy to see and avoid, if you are paying attention. The trick
is in gusty conditions to make a decision that actually gets you through without "sudden impact". WELDNGOD - 30-4-2012 at 12:57 PM

Yeah there was a clip of Claude (buggy) and Scott?(ATB) ,not sure what happened. But,Claude ate it hard ,then had to scurry downwind to ditch the
kite. Everyone was OK !
And I thought the pylon was flush w/ the sand ,until I got up on it. My drop axle is so low I didn't want to straddle it ,so I had to take it to the
tire. Thank god Kenda multiribs are tough !shehatesmyhobbies - 30-4-2012 at 01:29 PM

on da way!flyguy0101 - 1-5-2012 at 11:06 AM
explaination of the claude extraction in the video- I had looked behind me to set up for a jump- did not see anyone so edged hard and sent the kite,
unfortunately when i sent it claudes kite appeared and i hooked it with my lines. Best i can tell when I redirected to keep fom getting hammered my
kite literally ripped him from his buggy. All I saw was his kite then his buggy came haulin past me sans claude. Its okay to pick on us boarders- I
definetly fall more and my crashes look ugly- seldom injury unless you count a little sand rash or bruises injury- BUT I get to FLY and nuttin beats
that. If you are not crashing you are not trying-ctb
