FYI - New Pansh First Protos

Bigbear97e - 9-5-2012 at 09:32 AM

Anyone see the new First proto??
www.panshkite.com
They kept the familiar white/black checker pattern and added a
white/every color ever made checker pattern ... interesting ... don't know if I like this multicolor graphic or not??

Guess I should have threaded this as a like/dislike poll for graphics ...

I have the new water relaunch able and will post some pics later. I will have it with me at SOBB in May

i think they are showing all the available colors one can pic from. i think the ad said "customizable colors" aside from standard black/white checkers. i could be wrong.

I like the look. Not the same as all the others.

But... it's a Pansh. Have they really gotten good enough to consider?

I still remember the (insert past history here).

Interesting ....

Will this be a fixed bridle , close cell ? Fixed bridles never really seem to have taken off on the water. Still the closed cell will help with holding shape. May make for a great low wind engine?

It's a fixed bridle Ken, closed cell. It holds are pretty well and looks nice. Will get a small video or pictures up later in the day. It should be a gust muncher. The size I have is between a 3 - 4m. Super light bridling

The Flux is really good and I think they have lowered the price on it.

Will this kite come out in anything bigger than the 6m I see?

Closed cell is a big advantage for a low wind engine. Canucks kitesurfer XXXL is a fine example. I think those kites have a pretty light fabric for the day but the bridling holds them back a bit.

This kite in a 9 or 10m like the XXXL or larger even 12m could be a very interesting kite for our low winds ????
