First time going Hooooooooj

Went out with my buddy whos been out kiting with me a couple of times, but he had never seen me trying to jump much or had jumped him self. Took out the 19 V and it had said online that it was 12 mph winds. It seemed like a little bit more than that, but not too much. I had it up in the air and was talking to him, flying it around, showing him what does what, what to do if its too windy and you get scared. Then I was like. So if you want to try jumping... You have it over head like this, then you send it to the side, then you bring it back over head and you pull in the baaaaaaaaaaaaar! Huge gust hit apparently because he said I was at least 30 feet in the air. Which the most ive really done is 5-6ft jumpers. I came down very easily and was totally fine, it was quite scary yet awesome and intense. Proceeded to be an amazing session playing around with the board n buggy afterwards, but I didn't try to do any more jumps as my heart still hadn't slowed down until we were packed up and gone haha.

Oh yea I know, normally I'm really good at telling, but I think it just wasn't on ground level... But 27m up in the air there can be quite a difference. I'm extremely thankful I came out of it without even a scratch or anything even sore, but that doesn't mean I won't respect it any less.

if the jump keeps gaining size at this rate, in the next post you'll be talking about when 300 feet in the air!

Glad you came down safely!

Nooo I just meant because when I'm on the ground, my lines make it so the kite is 27m up in the air.
