That is simple and sweet. Please let us know how it works. I could knock that up in no time. And maybe I will next rainy day!!

interesting, simple, even has outriggers.:bigok:
Hmmmmmmmmm, I have a new welder, may have to give the Ivanpah II a new rear end.

I think WeldingGod's bike conversion piece is similar in design?? He should be able to help you with any questions.

I've been meaning to build one with a bigfoot wheel on it for my buggy but too busy with other projects.

I was thinking about getting a kite bike but I already have a libre and this is a very simple design. Maybe I can use my baby welder to make something similar.

I think that the width is gonna kill your ability to lean against the pull of the kite. My KYTBYK conversion is different, I made a whole new rear half(from down tube on back). On mine the siderails taper back in to the tire after passing around you.
That one comes straight back, and it looks to me that it will affect how far you can lean.
Not saying it won't work,Might be a bad ass. I'm just pointing out a possible hindrance. I wonder if anyone has seen one in action. If someone wanted ,I might could fab one or more up. Minus the wheel... But the bike adapter itself would be a piece of cake.

The pic I have is from a guy in the UK who made rear end he did not say how it performed

Hey WELDNGOD what would that cost to do. I would love to test one out.
