PL Vapor 3.8 RTF SOLD!

mougl - 21-5-2012 at 06:58 PM

As stated in title. Orange/Blue/White still crispy. Very little flight time, no damage. Comes complete with Xxtreme grips handles, 15m lines, and bag. Great kite, just not enough room to really use it here. Kinda like driving a Ferrari in a parking lot. Figured I'd give this one a new home so someone could give it what it needs :)

Fun kite!

Woooooooo!

mougl - 22-5-2012 at 03:40 PM

Very fun kite! Hate to sell it but not worth hanging on to for the once per year use it will see at JIBE. If I had a beach to ride, this would be going nowhere!

BeamerBob - 22-5-2012 at 03:56 PM

I see a vapor quiver forming for someone out there!

BigMikesKites - 23-5-2012 at 02:37 PM

i don't know. I static fly my vapors as often as I buggy with them. Its fun to let someone fly say a hornet, then put them on a viper....then once they are over their 'wow' put the vapor on there! Fun Fun Fun

I wish I could afford this one guys and of course your kites BB. I have a 3.2m on the way. I'm thinking next year guys.

BeamerBob - 23-5-2012 at 04:09 PM

I love playing with the efficiency of these kites doing 360s in light winds. 20m lines, full 360. I've never botched one with these kites. They slip through the air so easily, it doesn't take much to keep it moving forward. I've done dozens of them on the 4.5 and 5.4.

pyro22487 - 23-5-2012 at 04:31 PM

I saw a very large vapor (I think a 10m+) at NABX doing 360 after 360 it was incredible there was absolutely no wind but a guy walking in a small circle with that big of a kite doesn't really need wind.

Hey mougl, how does this kite handle on the 15M lines? Think I have room for this bird on my narrow beach?

mougl - 1-6-2012 at 10:41 AM

It's great on 15m. You can really feel the feedback with shorter lines. Idk how well it will do on your beach honestly. It likes a little room to RUN. I only have about 300' of runway and it usually looks back at me with a look that says "TEASE!!!"

bobalooie57 - 1-6-2012 at 10:55 AM

I gotta think about this. A. Do I have the skill for this? Won't know unless I try, right?
B. Given my propensity for parking kites in trees here at Southwick Beach, do I dare try? A hundred dollar NASA wing is one thing, but a 400$ race kite? I'll be back, gotta go to work and think about this. If I've snoozed, my bad.

mougl - 1-6-2012 at 11:03 AM

As far as skill to use it, it's shockingly easy to fly. Just remember she likes to turn on brake input moreso than the push/pull others like. I found myself moving the handles very little with this girl in the air. I found it much easier to buggy with while holding the handles horizontal as opposed to vertical with the vapor. Keep her in the window and she's golden.

As far as the trees, can't help you there
