Thanks to Van for an awesome job on the VTT rail kit that he customized to fit my bug.
The Land lizard, as far as i can tell is a mid nineties contraption that was not meant for my ass to fit in...
making it work for now until i can afford to put some real cash towards something much, much better
Heres before
Beaudryjoel - 22-5-2012 at 08:41 PM
and after.
now if you look hard enough you will see the weak points, namely the tiny axle and more importantly the sad front fork attachment set up... i think
this bug will do well for the summer and then will be retired as a tandem ride.

again a HUGE thanks to Van.
Stellar guy- great communication- went above and beyond to help me out with this project and keep the cost down.
hell, he seemed more excited about it than i did, even though i brought the bug with me to the parcel service so i could assemble it in their parking
lot.
Went out for a ride with it tonight for the first time with the new seat/rails and was out for about 90minutes and stopped cuz it was starting to
rain/had to get my daughter to bed.
I couldn't handle 30 minutes with the first seat due to the lack of back support.

Glad you liked it. It's basically my standard XR+ kit on his land lizard. The land lizard did not have the large axle with rail tubes like the
Peter Lynn buggies so I had to weld plates on the kit and also his original axle. The axle is only 1" in diameter so will do fine for a while. It was
already starting to bow a little from usage.
Joel is correct. I had fun building it and it was good to help out a fellow buggy pilot.

Super patient.
