Hrmph. So close yet so far......

Yesterday at dinner my wife and I were talking about summer vacation plans. It'd be nice to go back to the Yukon, could go see family on Vacnouver Island like last summer.

"I'd love to go to Oregon this summer" said the WIFE! followed by, "too bad it's so far."

"It's not far. It's only 6 hours past Vancouver." I replied.

"We should go then."

Stunned. How can one man's life be so blessed

Well, it isn't that blessed. Not 20 minutes later we realized that we won't be able to get travel insurance because we'll be past the 31 week mark of the pregnancy......no Oregon for us this summer.......

*sniff* *sob*

I mean yeah - I'm more blessed to have another child coming than non-blessed for having this carrot yanked but you know what I mean ; )

I know the feeling mac. I wanted to go to WW this fall but not happening. Sheska will be a bit too far along to travel that far. It's ok though. Gives me more time to plan the quiver for baby mougl
