Nitromos - 20-6-2006 at 03:49 AM

Hi, I have just bought a flexifoil viper 2.0, does anybody have any experience or views on this kite? I have had a look on the web but there is not much said. Any comments would be appriciated. Thanks

A bit late asking the question, aren't we?
I mean, you already bought the kite, right?

If we all say bad things, would you turn around and "stick" it to someone else?

Just a random observation...

I fly a Viper 4.0m.
I believe it is a very close cousin to the late, lamented Hi-Tigers.
A rectangular plan-form, wide aspect, fairly thin wing that generates it's power in a wide wind range.
Quick and responsive, it has plenty of potential when in the hands of an experienced flyer.
The 2.0m Viper would be a fine engine in winds from 16-18mph up into the high 20's.
Plenty of fun in the park down in much lower wind speeds.

As an entry-level kite, I wonder if it might not be a bit too responsive for someone just getting the feel of the wind.
Not all entry-level flyers are alike, so it could surely do the job with the right owner and winds.

Now that you've heard an opinion,
Fly that darn kite and get back here to tell us of YOUR experience.
