My wife laid claim to my 2.2m Buster Soulfly

My wife is more than happy to come kiting. But she would rather explore the area we are in than fly traction kites. She does enjoy fighters though.

My wife watched me once in the park "looks like you're just jumping up and down" , has no clue what we do on the beach or on the ice. Considering looking for a future ex but I'm way out of practise. Met a local gal , artist, flys stunt kites, contra dances all night long, married sais "I like my guy". Day late and a dollar short again!

I've gotten her on the beamer for a little bit and she said "I can really tell how this is way different than just standing there with a string and looking up (referring to single line stuff)... it really requires thinking and your whole body to do it..." but she crashed a bunch and just wasn't that into it.

I got her to try the 2 line symphony beach 2.1 at the beach but still... just not diggin' it.

She would rather be in the studio at the scrap booking,... nerd. (but I love her immensely) :wee:

We'll try again soon.

she's about 60 lbs lighter than me so we only need one quiver of kites for all wind ranges!

Too bad she hurt her shoulder this past weekend at the cable park. It might be a few months before she can kite again. Probably not doing the cable again but she still wants to kite!

See I was a little confused as to what to put. SHe tried land kiting. Hated it. She told me about a month ago that she wanted to try water kiting. So now I need to buy her a water trainer kite and set her up with lessons. Lucky for me Water knitting is kinda popular out at the lake.

We both kite. She LOVES her Vipers!

I bought the wife a Vibe for her birthday ... but she wont fly it unless I hold the bar too "I dont like how it pulls" she said
She did, off her own back, have a go in Thailand with a 7m LEI, harness etc. "It was scary." My wife is a sissy :(

cheezycheese - 5-6-2012 at 05:33 PM

kiting is a real sore spot between me and my wife...

martinipro - 5-6-2012 at 05:48 PM

Kristin enjoys kiting with us! Still working on her confidence with the big kites/buggy

My wife loves to fly and wants to try buggying, better yet I have a 15 year old son that fly’s and wants to land board, a 14 year old daughter that fly’s a little and wants to land board and a 10 year old son that fly’s and wants to land board, 12 year old daughter wants nothing of it (wants to read all day) and a 7 year old son who hasn’t tried it yet but I suspect he will be flying soon.
