Got her on Saturday night. Apparently she wasn't getting along with their cat so they just wanted to pass her on to another family and not have to
take her to a shelter. So far fairly well behaved the kids love her. As a bonus my allergies haven't started acting up yet either!!!!

While small bite holes do help deflate ARCs, they should be avoided.

An adopted mutt is the best dog you can get. They know some how that you will care more for them then some pure bred you paid big bucks for. Enjoy and
love her and she'll give i back 3 fold.
Our little rescue mutt is the best dog I have ever had.

Well she was advertized as a chocolate lab, but have no clue weather or not she has any mix in her. I'm not concerned either way though. I don't think
could spend 1000-2000 on a dog just to say that it is a pure registered when there is a perfectly lovable dog waiting for someone to take care of it
for free or very cheap. Have her all booked in at the vets to get up to date with shots, and have her spayed. Next come obedience school. (I'm willing
to bet that the wife was hoping that part was for me lol.) After that well maybe she will be stong enough to pull me home on those days when the winds
drop so that I don't have to walk :P

Don't laugh....the training IS for you - not the dog. Just don't let your wife know you love Rollover as much as you do. There are a couple "local"
labs here that enjoy running along with their people....you probably saw some of them at the kite fest. Our dog for whatever reason is terrified of
the kites....runs as soon as I open the bags.
Odd....must be the border collie in her. You'll learn about breed specific tendencies....watch your shoes ; )

+1 on what Mac said, it is training more for YOU than for her, I've been through professional training with 2 of my dogs and you learn how to treat
the dog so it doesn't feel the need to "take control of the pack" (your family) and it will help the dog become WAY less neurotic,... well worth the
multiple hundreds of dollars spent.
The pic below is my buddy Milo, who passed a couple of years back just before Christmas. I found him wandering around downtown Atlanta as a puppy
(only a few weeks old), took him home and never looked back. He had some aggression issues (esp. with other dogs) but we went through training with
him, and when he realized he didn't have to lead the pack, most of his behavior issues went away. While we never left him alone with the kids, he was
a great dog and is sorely missed. ... RIP buddy 
Congrats on the new buddy!!! she is beautiful.

@soliver- great shot of Milo- looks like the tongue is simply an accessory
