Funny how they posed it as current activities and equipment. That stuff must be mid 90's? An eternity ago in this sport.jellis - 12-6-2012 at 10:36 AM
Funny how after this demo was done, kite bugging was banned soon after in the Washington. It has taken over ten years since this incident and a lot
of work had to be done to get buggiers back on those beaches.indigo_wolf - 12-6-2012 at 11:09 AM

Fritz's sequence was shot in 1995 at WSIKF. At that time it was illegal to use wind powered vehicles on Washington beaches, but some how WSIKF or
Long Beach had an exemption.
Officially there was only one place on the Washington beaches that you could buggy and that was by permit at Washaway Beach south of Grayland, WA.
The area no longer exists - it "washed away"!cheezycheese - 12-6-2012 at 03:50 PM
Is that Fran Gramkowski's son...? also what kind of bar was Cory using in the water...? had some kind of flywheel/pulley on itBladerunner - 12-6-2012 at 04:25 PM
That was the real bar Corey and his dad invented . The kiteski kites they made did NOT water relaunch. Had to real them in. Set them up and let them
out again. erratic winds - 12-6-2012 at 05:21 PM
Tried to call them to thank them for putting nearly 20 year old footage out as if it was current.
Their mailbox is full. They apparently don't want any comments.sunset-Jim - 12-6-2012 at 05:41 PM
