I am puting this post under the heading of EVENTS / RACES / FESTIVALS for a reason.
2 years ago on June 13th 2010 it was a sunny, so-so windy day at the beach. Everyone was having a great time buggying and enjoying themselves.
This morning my wife asked me if I know what day it is and I say "Yes, my love, I remember with all of my LIFE"
This is an Event, a Festival, one I should not be part of. But I am.:saint:
My wife is taking me out for dinner and a quiet evening together, with out nurses, doctors, all kinds of machines with wires and buttons with lights
blinking to indicate things are ok, that death smell of the ER, and the quiet of the ICU. Without the pit in her stomach and the tears of having to
call the kids.
Today is like any other day, the sun comes up and tonight the sun will set. But for me it marks 2 years of life. I want to take this time to say
"Thanks to my kiting family"
Tonight I will say "Thank you" to my wife,(again).

Wow
2 full years and still fighting back ! You are winning the battle !
We are all very lucky you didn't turn away from the sport completely back then . The sport is better off for your hanging around.

Thanks Much guys for the kind words.
Angus, cracked me up with your suggestion for dinner, sorry to say it was Steak and Baked Potato, with Veggy's. Had an Ice Cream, carmel, chocolote,
oreo cookie crust thing with raspberrys on top for desert.:piggy:
Today, I am going out to play. Got a couple of new bugs and some kites to tryout and compare. This is the part I like the best, see what buggys, or
kites is better or worse, or the same as the others. Hmmmm, Apex or Libre Magestic. I'll leave that for another post.
