We have a creek by my place that after a good rain would be loads of fun. Sure, the fact that it's runoff from the streets means I better wear hip
waders but still. I'm seriously gonna do this this summer - I'll get video. Even if I use the plyboard or the F-One.
It won't be pure surf - I'll have to use a rope but I guarantee I'll be smiling from ear to ear. Thought I'd share this bit from the Kananaskis in
Southern Alberta.

We have a creek in our neighborhood too, and our neighbors kids have done that,... and other stupid stuff.

Yep,... one of those guys grew up 2 doors down from me. I think he's out of his mom and dad's house now.
That creek goes through my backyard, and the spot they were creek surfing is where it passes under they road into the neighborhood about 3 or 4 houses
down from us. That year we had crazy rain and flooding. The creek came halfway up into my backyard and I took my canoe out and canoed in the back
yard.
