Recommending line length is like recommending a color for a car. What we would recommend may not be what you will like. It all comes down to
personal preferences. Some people like longer lines, some shorter. Longer lines will give you more sky to play with, longer power strokes, increased
pull but the kite will be much more sluggish, turns will be bigger and the kite will be further away from you.
Shorter lines will make the kite more responsive, have it move faster through the window, turns will be quicker and the kite will have a more "direct"
feel on the inputs.
If you are wanting to know what the "normal" or most popular length for lines are, that would probably be something in the 20 to 30 meter lengths.
Most factory kites are sold with 20m lengths. I usually prefer 25m or 30m lengths for myself but that all depends on the wind conditions and the size
of kite I am flying.
Hope that helps.

5m Peel is a pretty big kite to be learning on? I know, I have one signed buy Mr. Lynn . Be Careful and wear a helmet.
The longer your lines the longer your power stroke / larger your wind window. Something in and around 23m lines are common. The Peel is a bit slow
turning so I wouldn't go to much shorter.
You would want to go longer if you have a location with better winds up high + to get the most out of low wind. Shorter gives a smaller window and
that helps in high winds. Less time in the power zone.

Another couple of points about short lines:
They will help when flying in tighter spaces such as when on Soccer complexes.
Remember the basic physics of turning the kite will constrain you [in this case] to at least 10m and realistically to c. 15m as your shortest lines.
Because of their shape you can use shorter lines with an NPW, in this case I would have no issue turning a 5m NPW on 10m lines.
As a solution to getting a quiver of line length I just finished making sets of .1m [for line to line connection], 1m, 5m, 10m and 15m length [and
probably will make a 20m set soon] out of 4 x 55m spools all for c. $100.
