Elliot Lexx 5.5m, Kite Only (kite and stuff sack only).... $185 (shipping included to continental US)
Elliot Lexx 6.6m, Kite Only (kite and stuff sack only).... $175 (shipping included to continental US)
Add a brand new set of Dyneema lines & HQ handles to either kite for additional $65 per kite.
If someone wants both kites and both line/handle sets, will sell for $465 ($25 off individual totals) and throw in a set of Peter Lynn kite killers
and two brand new generic back packs to store kites. Shipping still included of course.
One line set is orange, one is yellow, first buyer gets color choice. Both are 25 meter Dyneema sets with 600/400 lb lines. These line sets appear
in pictures, but were just recently added for photos. Kites flown last year on another set of lines.
I purchased these kites new last year and quickly realized they were too much kite for me (having just gotten into kiting earlier in 2011). I came
back to them in a few months and flew them less than 5 times on grass. I have read that some veteran buggy riders say these make good buggy engines
and I can see why... they pull like a freight train. They are obstinate and frustrating in very low winds when trying to launch, but when the wind
hits around 9-10 mph their personalities change to "open the gate and let me run" as they leap off the ground with minimal effort. These kites like
to keep moving. Slow them down too much and they stall fairly easily.
Bridles aren't anything to rave about, but I have not had any problems with them. Since I don't own a buggy and have been spending most of my kiting
time learning to board with depowers, I need to get these into the hands of someone who can use and appreciate them.

Early race kite, 2002 ish, super raw, not for a beginner but hours of fun in clean winds on a big beach! The tamer version was the Elliot Echo

Thanks for the history on these kites, kiteboyza! I should have put in the posting that they were not good choices for a beginner (as I personaly
discovered last year). I always wondered if these were Elliot's attempt at a race kite, but a lot of the people I asked had never even heard of
Elliot.
