ogsurf hooked me up with Peter Lynn buggy last week. I got to try it out yesterday in some light winds.
I had a blast! :D
I used my Mac Bego 600 with no strop/harness.
The low rolling resistance of the buggy really allows you to get moving easily (when compared to a mountainboard).
The buggy performed well, but I have a few questions:
What should the tire pressure be for grass?
Do you put anything like a rubber bumper where the fork hits the frame?

Tire pressure on grass, fairly firm, Yes you can put grip tape, it'll eventually wer off though, one other option is to wrap the pegs with sleeved
bridal line, thin rope, anything of that nature that wears good. Wrap it nice and tightly, then let a bead of Crazy glue soak into the rope from the
bottom of the peg. This'll lock it all in place and the rope should take forever to wear out.SecondWind - 6-7-2006 at 05:16 AM

I was useing tape and it didn't last for long, now I use rubber hose and it stay for three months with no visible wear.That is perfect solution for
me.
You just will have to find hose that fit well on Your foot peg.Use WD 40 to put it on.If hose is too lose it will turn around You don't want that.goreo95033 - 7-7-2006 at 03:14 PM
I've heard of using pieces of old bicycle tires laced up with zip ties for the foot pegs too. I haven't tried it myself though...kitemaker4 - 7-7-2006 at 06:31 PM
The bicycle tire does work. Get a mountain bike knobby tire and cut it to lenght. I should last for many years. I have them on both my buggys.

That's exactly what I have done on two of my buggies Susan. I used old mountain bike tyre.
It works well providing good grip for my boots and doesn't wear very quickly.
On my third buggy, I cut up an old bigfoot tyre, stuck it to the footpegs & cable tied it for additional security. That works very well too.
