Both very nice!!! I like that well organized quiver. Easy to see what you have and quick access to whatever gear you want to use. The car still looks like it would have been fun though.

good to know I am not only one crazy about organizing stuff in garage ,,,,

original GT40 ??
I am sure it was hard to letting it go .....

Well that was a nice car....but the organized garage of kites ain't to shabby either. I actually just did that for all of my kites. I guess I have two questions now....

1. Do you feel the weight of the kite bags hanging from that strap (same place I hung mine from) puts too much stress on the seams so the bag will eventually rip at the top over time?

2. Original question why I wanted to post...Do you have a close up of that roll bar for your flexifoil bug. Looks like PVC. I think its a flexi as the seat says that but the fork is from another breed. I was thinking of something similar so that I could push my back against it when I'm powered up and possibly not have as much chance of an OBE.

Kober:
No not original GT40, bought in UK and developed it over 3 or 4 years after it was finished took it out sparingly, very fast and handled well, did well in town which is what took alot of the work.

BEC:
the LEI kites are heavier, but I dont worry about their weight on the bags, the foils dont weigh anything. Good eye on the front end its a PL which is a bolt on item for a Flexi. Heres the post with the rundown on the backrest.

nice gt , did it have AC? i looked at a reproduction with longer leg room. and AC!

not sure i would have let it go. tough for a daily unit for sure.

apextech - 10-7-2012 at 10:17 PM

Yep, it had/has AC actually the original build was in '89 so the AC is still charged w/ R12. As for leg room I'm 5'10 and the car was perfect for me, the guy before me (original owner) was 6'1 and the guy who bought it 5'8, it of course had an adjustable pedal box.
