I had one just like that. Several occasions where it was the only thing that would fly and meant I was riding instead of reading on the beach.

BR, what would the R-II be compared to in another brand?

Well, I usually find myself on beaches that don't have any sunbathers and many times they are wearing coats and jackets. I'm doing something wrong it seems. :duh:

I am not sure ? Haven't flown a lot of large Fixed Bridle kites.
I know it has minimal bridling . Less than the original Reactor.

I do know it is the kite most often mentioned when somebody asks about ultra low wind engines. It did live up to that reputation. It thrives on apperant wind and we just don't have the space for me to work up the speed.

It is a very good kite . Just not getting the use it deserves .

If this is still here in 11 days you've got a buyer, otherwise my loss.
Any idea what shipping would be to Green Bay, WI 54304?

Bladerunner - 15-7-2012 at 05:10 PM

It looks like I have a local sale pending.

Shipping is about $30

Bummer ... I just rounded up the copper for this ... Cheddarhead, g00fba11 sent me an 8.3 rtf with bag from Wisconsin to Northern BC .... $36 USD, so BR is real close on his estimate
